10 Foods That Detox and Cleanse Your Liver
In many ways, your liver is like an air filter and everything you eat, drink and breathe can clog up this “filter”. Our body has a natural detoxification system but with today’s largely non-organic, overly processed food diet, we need to support it by adding liver cleansing foods to our diet. Many of these foods contain an important cleaning protein called glutathione- it acts like a toxic cop. Glutathione, when consumed through specific raw foods, handcuffs toxins and drags them out of our body.

Raw tomatoes do a great job detoxifying the liver, containing 169 milligrams of glutathione per serving.
