Medical Qigong Class a Hit! 12/13/14

On Saturday, December 13, the Medical Qigong class was taught in the Japanese Garden at the beautiful UH Campus. Visiting Instructor, Reverend George Kosho Finch from Portland taught the class. Reverend Finch also teaches at the Shingon Buddhist Church in Liliha. He was a Hawaii resident until his move to the mainland. His background includes martial arts study in Kung Fu in Michigan and China.

He prefers to be called “George”, an indication of his comfortable and easy style of communication. The class was informative and joyful. Participants learned several important acupressure points for health maintenance, how to breathe, how to move the mind, the body, and the energy all at the same time. The result was the restoration of energy, calm, and peace of mind, along with a stronger immune system, and instructions for a simple way to achieve relaxation, peace, calm and vitality. Thank you to Reverend George for sharing his wisdom at the Institute!

The reverend will make regular visits to Hawaii, and has agreed to do a series of workshops for health, working on all the body systems. Please stay tuned for the next workshop!
